Well we stay on Kavia Merida at the same rate and the difference was abyamal the bathroom was not good the shower does not work fine well Kavia Cancun it’s good but Kavia premium Merida was 10 to 10 imagine we spend 4 nights at kavia Merida and we expected the same and it’s 5 from 10 so so

This hotel is ideal for the non-luxury traveller. They have the basics and that’s it. For the location and the little po

The location is ideal, safe and good to catch the local transportation, close to places to eat, a supermarket and pharmacies. Close to Parque Las Palapas and the ADO Bus. The pool is small but it was great to enjoy it and relax after a day out and about.

Our first day we had the same issues I previously read from others. The plastic toilet seat was sliding from one side, it was dangerous, so the solution (the next day) was to completely remove it and that was not comfortable. Also, the shower head was clogged, so you couldn’t shower with pressure as it was squirting everywhere, and it was annoying to have to take a longer time in the shower than the usual; this was replaced on the 2nd day. The AC was at 16C and it felt like 26C so that also got fixed the 2nd day after I complained. It was frustrating to stay the first night with all these same issues others have had; it would have been much easier if all these little fast fixes were done before our arrival! So either they gave us same room with the same problems as to all other clients or all the rooms are the same.

The location was very good and convenient, near the important city center attractions. Beside parque de las Palapas and many bars and restaurants.

I had a very frustrating experience!!! This hotel is not for fun Holidays, it is for a bored spiritual retirement... I do not condider myself a disrespectful or disastrous person but is the first time that I see an alcohol free hotel, absolutely everything was forbidden there !!! Ridiculous check in policies, we arrived to the hotel at 9am and the hotel declined to us to use the pool to wait, we had to make time (6 hours walking around at 30 degress) till 3pm!!! Of course, at that point, the hotel also declined to let me cancel my reservation without any penalty fare. I won't come back, even for free!!!

it was great location there is market behind the hotel where the food is cheaper

24 hour monitoring of the parking lot , good wifi , and downtown location

I found a cockroach and informed concierge . They sprayed the room however next day when I had to check out I saw more . I was informed because they sprayed the day before it’s is the reason why they are out and why I would see more

Perfect location downtown cancun

Perfect location, close to everything and ATM at the other side of the street. Only thing was that it was a little bit noisy outside :)
